angeeckt, zurueckgeschossen und dann von der Katze im Sprung gefangen, wieder und wieder<\/p>\n\n\n\n

hitting corners, shooting back, and then caught by the cat within a jump<\/em>, again and again<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ploetzlicher Tempowechsel zum schleichenden Panthergang<\/p>\n\n\n\n

mein schwarzer Held, aufmerksam. Schnueffelnd, schauend, hoerend,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

alle Sinne gespannt. jeden kleinsten Vorgang zu registrierend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

all senses tensed, noticing the slightest movement<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die naechtliche Pirsch durch die Wohnung endet<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the nightly hunt through the apartment ends<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

langestreckt liegend, nur noch den Schwanz langsam auf und ab schlagend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zufrieden und entspannt wie ein Mensch es niemals sein kann!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dann eine freche Stoerung: das Eichhoernchen auf dem Balkon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

emsig die Koerner mueffelnd, mit herausforderndem Blick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

busy munching the seeds, with challenging looks<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Er darf nur mit zum Sprung gespannten Muskeln zurueckstarren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

my cat can only stare back with muscles tense for jump<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und waere schneller sein, als alle da draussen auf der Flucht vor ihm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

he would be faster, quicker than all out there running from him<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, hoffentlich auch schneller als die Wildkatzen, die Koyoten<\/p>\n\n\n\n

hopefully faster too than the wild cats, the coyotes<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

und alle Gefahren im Rennen um das Leben in dieser Welt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and all dangers of the race for survival in this world<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenn die Balkontuer endlich offen bleibt…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
