for not expecting the chocolates re wrapped from Valentine’s Day,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

dass Du nicht die Schokoladenpackung, die vom Valentinstag uebrig, neu verpackt wurde, von mir erwartest<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

or the invitation from all of us into your favorite dining place (always packed on Mother’s Day),<\/p>\n\n\n\n

oder eine Einladung mit uns allen in Dein am Muttertag immer ueberfuellten Lieblibgslokal erwartest<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

or the reservation for a Special Mom’s Package in the closest SPA – if we are too busy with our lives to spend time with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

oder die Reservierung zum Mutter Spezial Paket im nahe gelegenen SPA erwartest – im Fall, dass wir keine Zeit mehr fuer Dich haben oder zu weit weg wohnen<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

for just wanting me to be happy and do what I love to do with my life,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

dass Du einfach nur moechtest, dass ich gluecklich mit mit dem was ich im Leben mache<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

for being always there with warm and uplifting advice, if life gets choppy,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

dass Du immer mit warmherzigen, verstaendnisvollen Ratschlaegen fuer mich da bist, falls es in meinem Leben kompliziert ist<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and not blaming me for troubles, if I decide to do it my way anyways,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

und mir keine Vorwuerfe machst, wenn ich dann doch meinen eigenen Weg gehe und in Schwierigkeiten gerate<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

for just being happy to hear my voice, each time I call, no matter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for making it easy, to be a “good daughter”!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

dass Du einfach nur froh bist meine Stimme zu hoeren, wann immer ich anrufe…<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: I am aware, there are many complicated mother-daughter relationships. I am lucky, to have a wonderful one. I guess, I expressed it a bit in the Hallmark Style after all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
