Brigitte St Hilaire

I am born at the Rhine River in Germany, in Neuwied am Rhein!

In the first decade of my professional career, I worked as dedicated Sales Representative for a major Airline in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. After relocating to the United States of America, I obtained an administrative job in the retail industry. California became my second home.

Though being successful in the business world, my lifelong passion is teaching and writing.

I have been tutoring German learners consecutively for the past ten years.

My Degrees and Education in the field of language teaching include:

• The M.A. Degree in German Literature and Culture, Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main.
• The Certificate in Teaching Foreign Languages from Cal State San Bernardino.
• My teaching mantra is: It is never too late to learn a language – language learning is a lifelong process.

Currently, I reside in Northern California, where I teach Adult Learners and Heritage Speakers at the STV – German Language School, Sacramento.
